Highway Havoc

society, culture · EN

Highway Havoc is Where Adventure Meets Attitude. Here we share stories from the long-haul professional truck driver. We hear stories of traveling through the most grueling weather conditions on roads that normal drivers wouldn't avoid. Hear about the life these drivers have—how they sacrifice a normal life to complete their mission. Hear about lives where being home for the holidays is rare. Meet drivers who can tell you about all the roads and highways in the country — by their official numbered name. These drivers know the US highway system like the back of their hands. We hear stories about their pet peeves and superstitions. And we hear how they manage to keep themselves sane traveling the same roads for years, and decades. If you are a trucker driver — long-haul or otherwise — we know you have stories to tell. We want to hear them. Email us at
