Welcome to the Xenia Concerts Podcast, hosted by Kaylce Carter, Accessibility Coordinator at Xenia Concerts. This podcast celebrates the brilliance of disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically ill artists and arts workers while exploring how accessibility can transform the ways we create, learn, produce, and experience the arts. Beginning in October 2023, this project has been shaped through an incredible co-design process with six disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically ill artists and arts workers, whose lived experiences have fundamentally influenced how Xenia Concerts understands, practices, and continues to grow our adaptive concerts. Their wisdom, creativity, and expertise are woven throughout every conversation. Across this season, you'll explore accessible approaches to producing, the transformative power of disability arts, the vital role accessibility plays in music education, and the ongoing need to build stronger, safer arts communities for immunocompromise
