Promulgation of Universal Peace- Vol. I

religion, spirituality, history · EN

In the years leading up to the cataclysm of World War I, Howard MacNutt recounts the transformative visit of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá ‘Abbás to the United States. With a message of Universal Peace and the oneness of humanity, he addressed the pressing social, religious, and political issues of the time. This remarkable journey, spanning from April to December 1912, was marked by an extraordinary commitment from a man who had endured nearly his entire life in exile and imprisonment for his faith. This volume captures a rich collection of informal talks and spontaneous discourses delivered in Persian and Arabic, interpreted by skilled linguists. Upon arriving in New York City, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá declared his mission to share the fundamental principles of Bahá’u’lláhs teachings, urging the Bahá’ís of America to embody these ideals in their daily lives. Join us as we explore this powerful message of peace and unity.
