Love Brought You Here

Warning: This podcast will empower you to create joy & luxury against all odds. As Audre Lorde said, self-care is an act of political warfare, but self-love doesn't always come naturally. However, when we use creativity to nurture ourselves, we are quietly learning through action. Join host, Cassandra, each week as she and a guest discuss the experiences that push people to their limits, compelling them to make the choice to find beauty in chaos through various forms of artistic expression. This podcast is innovative, empathetic, funny, spiritual, intellectual, and silly. More than anything, it showcases the human spirit of resilience as we grow from merely surviving to finding immense wisdom and joy by learning to love ourselves. In the words of the late, brilliant James Baldwin: "Love brought you here. If you've trusted love this far, don't panic now."
