Soul Patrol with Dave K

music, commentary · EN

The Soul Patrol with Dave K is a one-hour guided tour through the heartbeat of groove where classic funk, soul, and R&B from the 60s, 70s, and 80s meets the next wave of modern soul revivalists. Each week we move seamlessly from the likes of Funkadelic, James Brown and Kool & The Gang onto Thee Sacred Souls, Leon Bridges, and Say She She. The Soul Patrol is algorithm proof, human-curated audio that digs into Artists of the past like Curtis Mayfield, The Bar-Kays and Ann Peebles, while bringing you contemporary performers like Say She She, Alissia and Leon Bridges. Dave K offers Artists interviews, insights and stories that show how the old school shaped the new. Expect vintage favorites alongside the latest releases. Classic funk, a touch of soul, a dash of deep-house-chill and maybe a little yacht rock too.
