You may have heard of the artists, the artworks, and the museums, but behind every masterpiece is an exchange conducted out of sight. This Is the Deal, is a new narrative podcast from Plaster Magazine that gives listeners a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the art world. These tales, often stranger, more dramatic and funnier than fiction, are waiting to be discovered. Hosted by art critic and writer Matthew Holman, the first three-part instalment of This Is the Deal uncovers the sale of one of modern art's most important works, Lavender Mist by Jackson Pollock.
