Sunflowers & Saguaros: A Podcast Between Arizona & Ukraine

society, culture · EN-US

One of them grew up around sunflower fields. The other, hiking amongst the saguaros. Between them, they've built something unexpected: a bridge between Arizona and Ukraine, one conversation at a time. Between Sunflowers and Saguaros is hosted by Olya Johnson — Ukrainian American, community member and volunteer — and Andrew Ripley, an Arizonan who fell into Ukraine advocacy through friendship and never looked back. Each month, they sit down with the people who live this story: veterans, artists, refugees, educators, local leaders. People who know what it means to carry two places in your chest. This is their podcast. And it's yours too. Connect with us: https://www.cactusandtryzub.com/ https://discord.gg/kSfNHyQvk olyaandandrew@gmail.com Musical Credit: Пиріг і Батіг - Гаї шумлять
