Storm Over Warlock

fiction, science, arts, books · EN

As dawn broke over the Terran survey camp, the Throg task force launched a surprise attack with chilling precision, indicating they had meticulously planned this strike. Blinding streams of energy darted across the base with terrifying accuracy, leaving destruction in their wake. Witnessing the chaos from a high ledge, Shann Lantee, the most junior member of the Terran team, understood that when the last of those yellow-red bolts fell, all human life would be extinguished below. He found himself alone and defenseless on the alien planet Warlock, hunted by both extraterrestrial invaders and the mysterious life forms that lurked in the shadows.
