Silly Women

Amusing musings about women in the arts, by women in the arts. We are Jen, Kate and Alex, and we are Silly Women. We've known each other for over two decades. We perform together, drink together and laugh together. A lot. Being a woman in the arts can be wonderful! But it can also be tricky. Oh yes. In this inaugural series, we'll be talking about: female composers, parenthood, funny women, weight and appearance, and difficult women. But we are of course silly women too, so it won't all be serious! No, no, no. So if you fancy hearing some open and honest conversations about women in the arts, we silly women are here in your ears. Credits: The Silly Women are Jennifer Greenwood, Kate Marlais and Alex Young. Original Music composed by Kate Marlais. The Voice of The Patriarchy is Stiofan O'Doherty. Recorded and mixed by Janaki Anderson at Bison Studios. <
