The Trans Wiki Project and Signal Found Productions presents The Goddess Recordings—an audio/spoken word series chronicling the life, legacy, and myth of Raquel Reyes, the pioneering trans model, artist, and early-internet icon who redefined beauty in the digital age. Once the world’s most downloaded transsexual model and author of the 2005 cult-classic memoir Goddess, Reyes is now regarded as a foundational figure in digital self-creation—her work anticipating the influencer that would later dominate social media. Two decades after her digital disappearance, this series explores her place in trans literature and cyber-culture—tracing the influence of Goddess and what that first wave of online fame revealed about creation, endurance, and the echoes we leave behind.
