Recognising the historical tragedies ahead, Fritz decides to use his modern knowledge and technology to assist the Boer commandos and alter the course of the conflict. He forms a strategic alliance with General Koos de la Rey, setting up a sophisticated financial system involving gold and diamonds to fund the importation of advanced weaponry and supplies. Fritz also seeks to influence global history by capturing a young Winston Churchill and attempting to prevent the devastating world wars he knows are coming.
