Two friends. One intimidating book. An entire legendarium waiting beneath the surface. The Deep Water Fellowship follows two enthusiastic Tolkien fans as they work their way through The Silmarillion, one chapter and one confusing name at a time. We’re Tolkien fans—not scholars—exploring Middle-earth, its connections to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and the influences of faith, history, language, and friendship on Tolkien’s extraordinary world. This is a fellowship for curious readers who want to ask questions, make connections, and discover the truths found within great stories.
