Holy Troublemakers

The Catholic Church wasn’t built by the cautious. It was built by mystics who argued with emperors, missionaries who crossed oceans with nothing but faith, martyrs who refused the easy way out, and saints who managed to be both completely human and completely on fire for God. Holy Troublemakers tells their stories. Each episode, host Dom Bettinelli takes you inside the life of one of the men or women who shaped two thousand years of Catholic history — not as plaster statues, but as real human beings who struggled, failed, doubted, and ultimately chose something greater than themselves. From Saint Peter on the shores of Galilee to Dorothy Day on the streets of New York, these are the people who made a holy mess of the world, and left it better for it.
