Eine Katze Bitte

music · DE

With “Eine Katze Bitte,” Lenze & de Buam present an album as diverse as life itself. Pop, rock, singer-songwriter, rap, and folk blend into a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. The songs are lovingly arranged – at times loud and demanding, at times gentle and thoughtful – yet always carried by a sense of closeness and honesty. The dialect lyrics explore the small and big themes of everyday life: hope and fear, lightness and doubt, closeness and distance. They are playful and critical at the same time, full of subtle nuances and an affection for the imperfect. “Eine Katze Bitte” is an album that listens rather than shouts – and touches without preaching. The entire record was produced independently, with plenty of craftsmanship, analog tones, and attention to detail. The result is an honest snapshot somewhere between head and heart. An album that radiates warmth – even when the world outside feels cold.
