In this exploration of the Book of Hosea, we delve into the life and prophecies of a remarkable prophet who dedicated many years to his sacred mission. Hosea foresaw the impending captivity of the ten tribes long before it occurred, and he likely lived to witness the ominous signs of its approach. Believed to hail from the kingdom of Israel, his prophecies often touch upon Judah as well. His writing style is strikingly concise and thought-provoking, with moments that are deeply moving, passionate, and profound. The overarching theme of his work is to reveal the profound sinfulness of his people, urging them to repentance through both the fear of divine justice and the promise of Gods goodness. - Summary by Introduction
