Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to Vietnam and recent visit to China are drawing international attention. These visits come at a time of heightened tensions between Russia and the West. In Vietnam, Putin is expected to meet with top leaders to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, technology, and education. Vietnam's decision to skip a Ukraine peace summit in favor of attending a BRICS meeting in Russia has raised eyebrows, particularly in light of its historical ties with Russia. Meanwhile, Putin's visit to China highlighted the growing strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing. The two leaders praised the growth in bilateral trade and announced joint initiatives in science and education. These visits underscore Russia's efforts to strengthen ties with key allies in the face of Western opposition. They also serve as a reminder of Russia's strategic importance in global affairs.
