Take It From Me: Lessons Learned features candid conversations with individuals facing the consequences of nonviolent criminal conduct who want others to avoid the mistakes they made. Hosted by Faigy Kass and Mendy Bistritzky of the Aleph Institute’s Alternative Sentencing Division, each episode explores the decisions, pressures, and patterns that led to the offense and the consequences that followed.By speaking openly about their choices, guests hope to help others recognize warning signs, make better decisions, and avoid a similar path. These conversations focus on accountability, rehabilitation, restitution, spiritual growth, and the possibility of turning a painful experience into a source of purpose and positive change.
