Borderlines with That Semite

Apartheid. White supremacy. Zionism. Palestinian identity. The future of Judaism. Israel’s relationship with its Arab neighbours. These are conversational landmines, the kind that end dinner parties and friendships, and that most people dare not touch. This show walks straight through the minefield. Yirmiyahu Danzig (@that_semite) is known for confronting the conversations most people avoid, bringing strong convictions but also a rare willingness to engage people who see the world differently. Caribbean, Ashkenazi, and Palestinian-Jewish by descent, he has built an online following of millions by refusing the usual scripts and narratives, crossing traditionally hard-set ideological borders by speaking to everyone in the language of genuine, openhearted curiosity. On Borderlines, he brings that approach to the most contested subjects in Israel and Jewish life, taking the big questions seriously enough to resist easy answers. Haredim and secular Israelis.
