Dubai today is known as one of the world’s go-to luxury tourist destinations - home to more five-star hotels than anywhere else on the planet, famous for its luxury shopping malls and Michelin star restaurants. But in this podcast, we go in search of another Dubai - the one that is unheard. A place where East meets West, where women can - and do - lead the way. Where science is saving resources, and selflessness is saving lives. Over these two series, Alesha Dixon and Kate Garraway meet the residents eager to turn what people think about the city on its head, and tell a totally different story about Dubai and its amazing people.
