This translation of the Greek Devotions of Bishop Andrewes, derived from the 1675 edition, has been reprinted in response to numerous requests from those who sought a straightforward devotional work, separate from its controversial context. The text has been thoughtfully arranged to serve as a daily manual of devotion for the week. Portions deemed out of place have been repositioned within the prayers or compiled at the end, while any repetitive elements have been omitted. Notably, the original text remains intact, with all modifications clearly noted at the bottom of the page. - Summary by John Henry Newman
