The Subpar Psychologist

education, self improvement, health, fitness, mental · EN

Nobody asked for another psychology podcast, but here we are. I'm a licensed psychologist in Oregon with a doctorate and a genuine belief that pretending to have it all figured out doesn't help anybody. This show involves mental health education grounded in research, honest conversations about messy topics, and the occasional tangent. Topics include depression, anxiety, trauma, masculinity, dissociation, suicide prevention, and mindfulness — with more to come... This podcast is for educational purposes only and does not constitute psychological advice or a therapeutic relationship. If you are in crisis, please call, chat, or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
