Welcome to REEL GIST with Jenny and Colette! We’re a British-Nigerian duo who absolutely adore our culture — and Nollywood? It’s more than just entertainment to us. It’s part of our DNA and has helped shape who we are today. Nollywood and African Storytelling is more than just entertainment, it’s a reflection of hard truths, culture dynamic and often both spoken and unspoken realities that our continent faces within families across the diaspora and local communities. So grab your chilled malt and join us as we unpack the latest African films and shows engaging in their thought provoking discussions, as well as kick back, catch vibes and gist along with us. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
