What if you are not finished? What if that's the point? I Am a Prototype is a serial podcast moving across the thresholds where identity refuses to settle. Transgender experience, autistic logic, the biological body and the coded self. K and Ella speak to each other the way estranged lovers do, carefully, with grief, with things still unresolved. Each episode weaves personal testimony, speculative fiction, and critical essay into a form as unfinished as the life it describes. Spanning IRC chatrooms and AI futures, transition and diagnosis, the series asks what it means to live inside systems of technology, society and care designed by and for someone else. Vampires, hackers, and ghosts move through these conversations as more than metaphor. So does love. So does fury. One evolving life. Still in beta.
