When mid-level actuary Arthur Pendelton buys a heavily discounted Victorian mansion, he expects a few home repairs—not a bloody portal to the underworld. But facing hellish demons, bleeding walls, and weeping specters, Arthur refuses to flee. Armed with a clip board, a bottle of bleach, and zero tolerance for noise violations, he sets out to bring corporate efficiency to the legions of the damned. An Actuary’s Guide to Home Exorcism is a horror-comedy about property taxes, HEPA filters, and why you should never try to haunt a man who calculates risk for a living.
