The Sorting Room

tv, film, after-shows · EN-US

A weekly breakdown of HBO's Harry Potter series for fans who want more than trailers and hype. Each episode tracks what's happening behind the camera: new casting announcements and how they compare to the original film actors, on-location filming reports from Leavesden and beyond, production design choices (animatronic owls, 1990s costume research, the rebuilt Hogwarts sets), and the creative decisions that separate this adaptation from the movies. Two hosts pull apart every detail, from how showrunner Francesca Gardiner is expanding book scenes the films skipped to where Hans Zimmer's score might land relative to John Williams. If you're the kind of fan who paused the teaser trailer frame by frame, this is your show.
