EMPOWERED HEALING is a quick course in taking back your power to heal. Sandy Cowen, who’s recovered from rheumatoid arthritis, leukemia (twice), psoriasis, hyperthyroidism, and neutropenia without pharmaceutical drugs, shares her list of what strengthens and what weakens the immune system. She explains why fear and old medical myths keep us sick, what holistic really means, how to safely reduce your dependence on pharmaceutical drugs, and when it’s smart to use conventional medicine—and when it’s not. Covering a variety of topics, she’ll illustrate how it’s possible to overcome chronic illness, autoimmune conditions and even fight viruses—while enhancing your quality of life.
