Join seventeen-year-old Catherine Morland, a passionate admirer of Gothic novels, as she embarks on her first visit to Bath with family friends Mr. and Mrs. Allen. In this vibrant city, Catherine encounters new companions, including the charming Isabella Thorpe, and finds herself at the center of social gatherings and balls. While Isabellas brother, the rough-around-the-edges John Thorpe, vies for her attention, Catherines heart is truly drawn to the captivating Henry Tilney. As their friendship blossoms, she also bonds with Henrys sister, Eleanor. Captivated by Henrys insights on literature and history, Catherines imagination runs wild as she anticipates a visit to Northanger Abbey, the estate of the imposing General Tilney. Influenced by her readings of Ann Radcliffes Gothic masterpiece, The Mysteries of Udolpho, she envisions a world filled with dark secrets and thrilling mysteries waiting to be uncovered.
