Bag & Paddle with Rob Nunnery

health, fitness, sports · EN

Bag and Paddle is a podcast about competing, traveling, and living as an athlete when your body doesn’t cooperate. I’m Rob Nunnery. Professional pickleball player. One of the only pro athletes in the world competing with an ostomy. Each episode is a real conversation. No inspiration porn. No sugarcoating. We talk about: • Playing high-level sports through chronic illness • Ostomies, Crohn’s, surgeries, setbacks, and recovery • Travel, training, hydration, and performance when your body has limits • Identity, embarrassment, resilience, and learning to adapt without quitting Some guests are pro athletes. Some are just trying to live normal lives in difficult bodies. All of them have been forced to adapt. Bag and Paddle is about what it actually looks like to keep going.
