[the act of] DOING

[the act of] DOING....is a podcast about human endeavour, song craft, and the creative process. Think of this podcast as a celebration of creation, and the collective act of making music.Hosted by Kevin Skaggs, a recording mix engineer and producer with over two decades of experience. Each episode preserves what happens when inspiration strikes, and things seem fall into place as though they were meant to be. An almost indirect, and quiet resistance to the generative, synthetic, and algorithmic music culture emerging around easy access. This podcast is for those who still believe in the value of the process, of mistakes and even friction. It is for those out there who know that it’s in the doing where the real stories are born, and become interesting.
