Discover the profound insights of Father Frederick William Faber, a cherished spiritual writer, preacher, and leader of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri in London. An Oxford scholar and Anglican priest since 1839, Faber’s transformative journey into Roman Catholicism in 1845, influenced by his mentor John Henry Newman, marked the beginning of his impactful legacy. Throughout the 1850s, he authored several beloved spiritual works that continue to inspire Catholics today, including All for Jesus, Growth in Holiness, and The Foot of the Cross. The present work, Kindness, carries an imprimatur and draws from his earlier text, Spiritual Conferences, first published in 1859.
