Joyful Muslims — Preserving the Classical Islamic Canon

religion, spirituality, islam · EN-US

Three-minute samples — and a daily First Ten Minutes series — from the canonical texts of classical Sunni Islam — the Iḥyāʾ of al-Ghazālī, Ibn Kathīr's Stories of the Prophets, the Riḥlah of Ibn Baṭṭūṭa, al-Nawawī's Forty, Ibn al-Qayyim on the heart, al-Mubārakpūrī's Sealed Nectar — translated from the original Arabic, narrated with care. These episodes are previews; the full audiobooks live in the Joyful Muslims app, with the Living Manuscript showing the Arabic original and the unabridged English translation on screen as the narrator reads. Audio is the vessel. Preservation is the purpose.
