Principals of Literacy is a podcast from The Reading League Texas exploring what it takes to turn the science of reading into strong, sustainable literacy practices in schools. Hosted by Dr. Patty Coté, the podcast brings together educators, researchers, and literacy leaders for practical conversations about evidence-aligned instruction, curriculum, implementation, coaching, data, intervention, special education, and the systems that support student success. While the podcast centers on the important role of school leaders, the conversations are for anyone working to improve literacy outcomes from principals and district leaders to teachers, coaches, interventionists, and other literacy advocates. Each episode connects research to the realities of schools, offering ideas, perspectives, and actionable next steps for building stronger literacy instruction for every student.
