The Girl In The Cupboard - DNA & Adoption Discoveries & Real Stories

health, fitness, mental · EN-US

Welcome to The Girl In The Cupboard. As a child, I often hid in a cupboard. It was the only place I felt safe. Years later, after my mum passed away, I began researching my family tree. What I discovered changed my life forever. A DNA test revealed the man I believed was my father wasn't my biological father. It led me to a father I never knew, a sister, a brother and a completely new understanding of who I am. This channel shares powerful conversations with people whose lives have been changed by hidden family secrets, DNA discoveries, adoption, donor conception and long-lost relatives. Together we'll explore identity, belonging, loss, hope and the courage it takes to uncover the truth. Every family has a story. Some are hidden. Others are waiting to be found.
