Through intimate conversations, My First Year As A Mother explores the profound transformation of motherhood—the physical, emotional, and psychological shifts that reshape a mother’s entire life. Rather than prescriptive advice, these deeply honest conversations capture what mothers actually experience: the sensations, the fears, the joys, and the shifts in relationships with partners, family, and themselves.. By hearing mothers speak their own truth—about feeling powerful and depleted, creative and confused, capable and helpless—listeners discover that motherhood, in all its complexity and beauty, is more challenging and transformative than they imagined.
