Dive into Strange Story Book, a captivating collection of tales brought together by the devoted widow of the esteemed childrens short-story collector, Andrew Lang. In this final installment of his fairy story series, she unveils enchanting narratives that never made it into his previous compilations. With heartfelt words in the preface, she honors her husband, who cherished the old over the new, found joy in the company of beasts, fairies, cricket, and dance. Although he dreamt of distant lands, he shunned travel, preferring instead the laughter and stories shared by children, while his own offspring playfully teased him. Join us on a journey through imagination and nostalgia, as we celebrate the legacy of a beloved storyteller. - Summary by Lynne Thompson This show includes AI-generated content.
