mummy, can I watch something?

kids, family · EN-GB

This is your new guide to navigating the turbulent world of kids TV! I grew up watching telly, but when I became a mum, I was made to feel guilty about it. Mumfluencers, media, and medics make screens shameful. And I get it. Screens are a complex, serious struggle for modern parents. But somewhere between the sleep training and the snack time, we’ve lost sight of the storytelling. So I decided it was time to tackle the remote off my 5-year-old and start to interrogate the shows I want her to watch. And maybe, along the way, I could help inspire other parents too. Ready? Pass the remote.
