The Cassette Chronicles: The Life of Classic Rock

arts · EN-US

My podcast highlights bands that made a big splash in the classic rock era. So many bands from my generation were great influences on musicians in the newer generation, in style and technique. Cassettes were the go-to medium back then, although I will cover some vinyl-only music too. I do believe a lot of these bands had to be great musicians with great stage presence to make it in rock back then. There was no sampling or voice-changing software to alter the sound and sometimes cover up a band's lack of talent. These men and women were experts on their instruments and vocals, which is why they have stood up over the years.
