AI Assistants in Academic Writing is a podcast for university and college writing lecturers who want to explore practical, ethical, and effective ways to use AI in academic writing instruction. Grounded in the realities of tertiary education in Trinidad and Tobago, the podcast examines how AI assistants can support teaching, learning, feedback, lesson planning, prompt engineering, and the design of synchronous and asynchronous writing activities. Each episode helps educators think critically about the role of AI in the writing classroom while developing strategies that strengthen student learning, lecturer confidence, and purposeful instructional practice.
