The Way It Was is a faith-based outdoor podcast and television show centered around hunting, fishing, friendship, and sharing the blessings God has given us through the outdoors.Hosted by good friends Gevan Spinney, Lynn Beaty, and Sid McCullen, the conversations are filled with stories from decades of hunting camps, fishing trips, travels, laughter, faith, and life experiences together. What started as a different way to capture interviews for the television show quickly turned into something more — real conversations around microphones that felt too good not to keep going. On the podcast, you'll hear the full stories, behind-the-scenes conversations, and moments that don't always make it into the TV episodes. Then those conversations are woven together with footage from the hunts and adventures to help tell the story on television.Whether you found us through the show or the podcast, welcome to The Way It Was.
