Reading and studying scripture is important, but the objective is to apply what the scriptures teach. Dr. Brian Gerard Fite wants to help you do the work to understand and implement biblical teachings. Scripture must be understood in its historical setting and written context. Each book must be understood independently. Each author was commissioned to convey a message to a specific audience. Our current understanding cannot be influenced by modern language patterns or current social constructs.
