Stories of Siegfried, Told to the Children

kids, family, stories, fiction · EN

Dear Denis,—Ive discovered a captivating tale within the pages of an ancient German poem known as the Nibelungenlied. This extraordinary work is brimming with enchanting adventures, featuring both the tiny yet mighty Nibelungs and the bold heroics of mortals. As you delve into these stories, I can almost envision you nestled in the nursery, completely absorbed in the tales. The world around you fades away—Denis! Denis!—but you remain blissfully lost in Nibelheim, enchanted by the peculiar voices and wrinkled faces of its inhabitants. Siegfried, the joyful hero of the Nibelungenlied, awaits your judgment. Will you find him as valiant as the legendary French Roland or as noble as your beloved English champion, Guy of Warwick? I can only wonder if this little book will capture your imagination as deeply as the stories of your other heroes. —Yours affectionately, MARY MACGREGOR This show includes AI-generated content.
