Wake Up Detroit is a community-centered show that amplifies conversations around the issues shaping our collective future, including water justice, environmental equity, civic engagement, education, public health, faith, culture, and community leadership. Inspired by the legacy and vision of the late Rev. Dr. JoAnn Watson and her original radio program, the show creates a platform for residents, advocates, policymakers, youth leaders, and changemakers to share stories, insights, and solutions that impact Detroit and beyond. Through honest dialogue and grassroots perspectives, Wake Up Detroit seeks to inform, inspire, and mobilize listeners to take action in their communities.
