The Black Male Educator Classroom Podcast goes beyond the usual conversations about recruiting and retaining Black men in education. It is a space for honest conversations about what Black men need just to be, grow, lead, build, own, and flourish—personally, professionally, entrepreneurially, and collectively. Hosted by Dr. Sekou Haki Kamau Afrika, Founder and Chief Educational Executive of The Black Male Educator Classroom, the podcast brings together lived experiences, research, theory, and practice to explore the realities, possibilities, and needs of Black men across the educational ecosystem. Through solo episodes and conversations with Black men in education, as well as educators, researchers, leaders, institution builders, and others committed to this work, the podcast moves beyond conversations focused solely on representation, recruitment, and retention. We engage the whole Black man—our health and well-being, purpose, knowledge of self, self-
