Get ready for The Title Drop, the new series where we peel back the layers beneath the titles of the most compelling collections in contemporary poetry! Why are poetry titles the conversation everyone is dying to join? Because a title like Black Pastoral is more than just a label—it is a portal into a world of "lived lives" where the past and present collide. In our premiere episode, host Lois P. Jones dives deep with award-winning poet-storyteller Ariana Benson to discuss her celebrated debut. Discover how a title captures the heart of a collection that both honors the landscape and reclaims history.
