Welcome to The Flower Hour, with Erin Small. This podcast is dedicated to connecting flower growers with each other and with the resources they need to thrive. Whether you’re a seasoned cut-flower farmer, a backyard grower, or just getting started, this is a space where growers can learn, share experiences, and build community. Each episode brings you conversations with farmers, researchers, and Extension specialists who are working in the field and in the garden every day. We’ll explore practical tips, research-based insights, and real stories from growers across the region. Our goal is simple: strengthen the flower-growing community by bridging the gap between growers and Extension education—helping you grow better crops, build stronger farms, and stay connected to others who share your passion for flowers. So grab your coffee, step into the field, or settle in at the potting bench—this is The Flower Hour. 🌸 Hosted by Erin Small, Agriculture Agent with Virginia Cooperative Ext
