Obedience of a Christian Man

In The Obedience of a Christian Man, we explore the stark contrast between the life of a true Christian and the opulent lifestyles of high-ranking officials within the Roman Catholic Church. This powerful critique targets the Popes, Cardinals, and Bishops who indulge in luxury while neglecting their duty to teach Scripture, often aligning themselves with inconsistent Doctors of theology. William Tyndale boldly asserts that true Christians will face persecution for their faith in Christ and offers guidance on how believers, from servants to rulers, should conduct themselves. This compelling work ultimately led to Tyndales execution by strangulation, and many of his writings were condemned to flames. - Summary by David Ronald
