Strokes of Genius

Gary Adamson was recovering from a stroke when he started working with a gifted music therapist named Annela Flores. What started as therapy sessions turned into something neither of them expected. Gary began writing down words — fragments at first, then full lyrics. Annela set them to melody. Somewhere in that back-and-forth, a songwriting partnership was born.Today they perform as Strokes of Genius — a name that holds both the truth of how they met and a wink at what came out of it.Gary writes the words; Annela brings them to life — her angelic voice paired with a musician's ear for exactly which instruments each song needs. Every song is an invitation into their creative world, built from two people who found each other at exactly the right moment.Whether you're an artist, a dreamer, or just someone who loves a great story set to a beautiful melody, we hope this music will inspire and uplift you.Tune in, turn it up, and let the music take you somewhere new.
