Welcome to the City of Shalom Sermon Podcast, the weekly preaching ministry of City of Shalom Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Each week, we open God's Word with the conviction that the gospel of Jesus Christ doesn't merely prepare us for heaven—it teaches us how to live as citizens of heaven here and now. Through faithful, Christ-centered, expository preaching, we seek to behold the beauty of Jesus, be formed into His likeness, and be sent into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and city as ambassadors of His Kingdom. Whether you're exploring Christianity, new to the faith, or have followed Jesus for years, our prayer is that these sermons will deepen your love for Christ, strengthen your faith, and equip you to live faithfully in every area of life. City of Shalom exists to make citizens of heaven who seek a better city on earth—a city of shalom. Learn more or join us for worship: Sundays | 4
