The Hidden Ones Podcast

true crime · EN

The Hidden Ones is a binge-worthy true crime documentary style podcast set in Iceland—where volcanic landscapes, modern life, and huldufólk folklore collide. Host Diane Lynch investigates the cliff-edge death of cameraman Simon Thomasson and the disappearance of journalist Lára Oddný Steinunnar-Tjörvadóttir, chasing leads that blur myth and motive. With Nordic-noir atmosphere and on-the-ground reporting, this mystery revisits an unsolved case shaped by rumours, public suspicion, and a too-convenient scapegoat—asking what happened, what can still be proven, and why Iceland can’t let it go.
