Flotilla Voices features Dr. Frank Romano, a participant in both the 2025 and 2026 Global Sumud Flotillas. He brings you conversations with other activists who participated in these relief efforts, updates on new plans for the relief of Gaza, and descriptions of his experiences - including torture at the hands of the IDF - as a result of the flotillas and from decades of peace activism in Palestine and Israel. Dr. Romano earned a PhD at the Sorbonne in Paris, is a retired law professor at University of Paris and adjunct professor at Golden Gate University, and is the author of the books Storm Over Morocco and Love and Terror in the Middle East.
